This module develops understanding of environmental management, environmental risks, sustainability practices, and environmental control measures relevant to workplace and organizational safety.
This module develops knowledge of safety laws, regulatory frameworks, enforcement, compliance responsibilities, and the application of legal frameworks in occupational health and safety practice.
This module develops communication, reporting, digital, and professional practice competencies required for effective occupational health and safety work.
This module develops knowledge of workplace health hazards and exposure control. It focuses on identifying chemical, physical, and biological hazards and implementing appropriate exposure control measures in occupational environments.

This module enables independent research and application of occupational health and safety knowledge. Students conduct an independent research project addressing real-world occupational health and safety challenges and present findings in a professional format.
High School Diploma / CAPE / equivalent.
Level 4 Diploma / HNC in a relevant field.
Level 5 Diploma / HND / NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Relevant professional experience in safety or related industries may be considered under Recognition of Prior Learning.
